Maureen was a smashing girl when we met and we met on a 'blind' date. We were just 18 and from that day in March 1966 we had no other person in our lives except our families of course. She had to retire from the Civil Cervice as was the rule those times, having married. We had 40+good years together and our 3 children and 6 grandchildren, like me, adore their MMam, Granny. Maureen was a practical yet lovely woman. Her life was always in God's hands and her prayers and faith were an example to us all. Lord how I miss her...
